Municipal Fiscal Facts

Colorado’s on-line community for municipal fiscal data, models and analysis.

Join Colorado’s online fiscal community, by becoming a member of Municipal Fiscal Facts.

Welcome to phase one of Municipal Fiscal Facts, a project of the Colorado Futures Center at Colorado State University and developed in partnership with advisors from the cities of Arvada, Aurora, Boulder, Durango, Fort Collins, Greeley, Littleton, Loveland, and Superior.

Municipal Fiscal Facts is a subscription-based, membership driven utility through which Colorado cities can share fiscal data for research and comparison purposes, create real time data visualizations, and download data using user-defined queries. Phase one is limited to sale and use tax data, but planned future phases will incorporate other revenue and expenditure data elements.

Municipal Fiscal Fact members contribute data quarterly and in return have immediate access to the data contributed by all other members. In addition, members have access to research reports, forecast models, and other analyses completed by the Colorado Futures Center as well as a quarterly invitation to attend the statewide user group meeting.
